How to Find the Best Affiliate
Marketing Software
By Tina Barrett
For
anyone who is trying to make money online as an affiliate marketer you know how
difficult it can be to make a sale. You might have a great product, a wonderful
landing page, top notch auto-responder and every other tool to help you make
sales. But still nothing. What's missing? Maybe what's missing is the right
affiliate marketing software. Online
marketing isn't really all that hard, but just like riding a bike, you still
have to learn how to do it before you can do it. Affiliates will spend hundreds
or thousands of dollars on websites, auto-responders, PPC, etc. But they won't
spend a couple of hundred dollars to find the best affiliate marketing software
for them.
Often
times the new affiliate will jump in without the proper knowledge, lose their
shirt, say "affiliate marketing is a scam" and give up. This could
have been avoided if they had just spent a little time and money to learn how
to do it right. Learn how to market online. Spend some money now to make more
money later. So you may be saying "OK,
I'm willing to invest the time and money to learn how to market effectively
online, but where do I go for that training". Good question. There are
thousands of forums, articles, and software programs devoted to affiliate marketing.
How do you know which will give you the biggest bang for your buck? Or better
yet, has a free version you can use to see if it really does what it says it
will.
Ideally,
just like in 'real life' you could ask a friend for a recommendation. What software
have they used. But most people don't have a friend they can ask, so the next
best method is to do a little research. Do a
search for forums dedicated to affiliate marketing. Spend some time in the
forum, read what people say about various affiliate marketing software. Ask for
recommendations. Many of the people participating in these forums have achieved
the level of success at affiliate marketing that you dream of. They will gladly
share their experience and wisdom, you just have to ask.
Another
resource is to go to some of the affiliate marketplaces such as, ClickBank.com
or CommissionJunction.com. Do a search for the affiliate marketing software
they have. Find which software is selling well and if it's been selling well
for an extended period of time. Also check to see what the refund rate is.
Typically the lower the refund rate the more pleased people are with the
affiliate marketing software product That will be a pretty good indication that
it is a quality software product and would probably be a good place for you to
start.
We
all know that the economy is slow right now. Money is tight. So now more than
ever you need to make sure that the money you spend gets the desired
results...people making purchases at your website. In order for you to shorten your learning curve
and avoid wasting your precious time and money you have to educate yourself.
The best way to do that is invest in top quality affiliate marketing software.
Find the very best programs, give it a 'test drive' and see what it can do for
your business.
